Justin Jefferson Shows Off Throwing Arm During Practice

Over the past few weeks during practices and pregame warmups, the Minnesota Vikings wide receivers have been playing a game to show off their multitude of talents. Third-year All-Pro receiver Justin Jefferson and his teammates all took turns throwing the football from the 40-yard line in an attempt to hit the crossbar at the back of the end zone. Before their third and final preseason game against the Denver Broncos, Jefferson let the ball take flight from the 40 and hit the crossbar dead-on.

With his throw, Justin Jefferson showed that his arm talent is explosive and seemingly available. Throwing the ball from the 40-yard line and hitting the crossbar is no easy feat. The throw totals out to be around a 57-yard heave, something that Justin Jefferson is usually on the other end of.

Justin Jefferson is coming off an electric season with the Minnesota Vikings where he tallied 1616 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns. This was after breaking rookie receiving records in his first year in the league. If the Minnesota Vikings are able to pick up on Justin Jefferson’s hidden talent like the cameras did, Minnesota fans might see him throwing the ball on a few trick plays this season.
