With the Minnesota Vikings’ preseason about to conclude on Saturday against the Denver Broncos, fans are getting excited to see how the Vikings will perform in Week 1 and how they will move forward this season.

Justin Jefferson has been a revelation for the Vikings after they drafted him in 2020. He broke records as a rookie and achieved personal accolades in his first 2 years on the team. In 2021, Justin Jefferson ended the season with 108 receptions, 1616 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns.

In this play captured during a joint training camp session with the Niners, Jefferson was seen running a route out from the backfield to the sidelines and then cut towards the middle for the reception. While these routes are typically run by running backs, it shows Kevin O'Connell's willingness to use different looks to open up opportunities for Justin Jefferson. This is a good sign for Vikings fans and a preview to the changes that new coach Kevin O'Connell will be implementing in their new-look offense.

When asked about the offense Justin Jefferson had this to say.

"Our offensive style, it's not a run-first offense anymore. Just us being able to put different people in different positions and distribute the ball, really. I'm so excited in this offense. Us just being in OTAs, learning the plays, going through it with our defense, and stuff."

"We're all excited. We're all happy to have (O'Connell). It's definitely a different vibe, a different connection in the building with him there. We're just excited to start it up, really. We want to see how this season really turns out for us."
