Since entering the NFL in 2020, Minnesota Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson has been setting records and making waves. Leading the league in receiving yards since his debut, Jefferson has quickly established himself as one of the most dominant wide receivers in the game. And according to CBS Sports, he's the best heading into the 2023 season.
CBS Sports' Jordan Dajani recently ranked the top 10 wide receivers in the NFL, and Jefferson came out on top:
1. Justin Jefferson
2. Tyreek Hill
3. Davante Adams
4. Ja'Marr Chase
5. Stefon Diggs
6. Cooper Kupp
7. A.J. Brown
8. CeeDee Lamb
9. Deebo Samuel
10. Jaylen Waddle
According to Dajani, Jefferson's record-breaking season in 2020 is a big reason for his top spot.
But it's not just the numbers that make Jefferson so great. Dajani notes that he's incredibly dangerous no matter what route he's running, and he accounted for the highest percentage of a team's receiving yards last year (37.5%).
Jefferson's dominance is expected to continue, as the Vikings are reportedly working on a contract extension that could keep him in Minnesota until the end of the 2027 or 2028 season. And with the addition of USC wideout Jordan Addison in the first round of April's draft, the Vikings could have one of the best wide receiver duos in the league.
